I read something profound the other day that made me aware of the struggle of some people at this time of year. After the shopping, celebrations and gifts are opened, some find the cold and long dark nights quite challenging. “Perhaps," says Sylvia Boorstein, "these days of less sunlight are opportunities for more contemplative time, more looking deeply to see what can only be seen in the dark."
